Ingredients

4 medium yams
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Boil yams, covered, until almost done.
Peel and slice. Combine other ingredients in 10-inch skillet.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add yams.
Cover, simmer and baste until completely done and looks glazed.
