Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. meal (self-rising)
3 Tbsp. flour (self-rising)
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 c. sweet milk or water

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop into shortening and cook until golden brown.
