Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    dough for 10-inch pie crust
    3 large eggs
    3/4 to 1 1/4 c. sugar (depending upon sweetness of potatoes)
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    dash of salt (optional)
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
Preparation
    Prepare dough; roll out and transfer to 10-inch pie plate. Crimp pastry edge.
    Refrigerate until ready to fill.
