Creole Style Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, diced
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
16 oz. canned tomatoes
16 oz. green beans, drained
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon.
Into remaining bacon fat in pan, add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Blend in flour, sugar, Worcestershire, salt and pepper and the mustard.
Add the tomatoes.
Cook, stirring unti thickened.
Add the green beans and heat well.
To serve add the beans with the bacon.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
