Cinnamon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. plain flour
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolk.
    Sift flour and cinnamon together.
    Add flour to creamed mixture.
    Pat into an ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
    Pour unbeaten egg white over entire surface; drain off any excess.
    Sprinkle nuts on tops, pressing in slightly.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into bars while still moderately warm.
