Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onions
    1/2 c. sliced peppers
Preparation
    Put in a large pan.
    Cover with 3 tablespoons salt.
    Let stand one hour.
    Drain.
    Mix 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar and 1 teaspoon celery seed.
    Pour over pickles.
    Let stand 3 days before eating.
