Margarete Edgerton Norris' Yeast Breaddallas, Texas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    Flour
    12 Tbsp. melted lard
    Salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 pt. luke warm water, add sugar and mix up sponge using flour, enough to be not runny, not thick.
    When it rises, put in salt and lard and mix up stiff and knead until dough is smooth and easy to handle.
    Let rise, punch down, rise again and make out loaves.
    Let rise and bake about an hour at 325\u00b0. Loaves will come loose from pan when done.
