Native American Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. frozen thawed corn
    1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
    1/2 c. unsifted flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. grated red pepper
    1/4 c. green onion, chopped
    2 large eggs
    1/4 c. chilies, chopped
Preparation
    In 9-inch iron skillet, fry bacon crisp.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons fat and throw rest away.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
