German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes
    1 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
    3 to 4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. hot water
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 stalk celery with greens, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley (dry or fresh)
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, hot water and sugar.
    Cook potatoes with skins on until done.
    Peel and slice while still warm.
    Mix all ingredients together gently, adding olive oil in last.
    Crisp cooked bacon may also be added if desired.
