Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (any red flavor)
    2 c. cold water
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    Cool Whip
    sliced bananas
    strawberries
    pineapple chunks
Preparation
    Stir boiling water into Jell-O in large bowl.
    Be sure Jell-O is completely dissolved.
    Stir in cold water.
    Stir in ice cream until smooth.
    Pour into serving bowl.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm.
    Garnish with fruits and top with Cool Whip.
    Serves 8 people.
