Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked (9-inch) pie crust, cooled
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. milk or canned milk
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, beat eggs.
    Combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Add to eggs.
    Then add milk (or canned milk).
    Cook until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
    Then add oleo until melted.
    Take off of the stove and add vanilla.
    Let cool.
    Pour into pie shell and refrigerate until cold.
    Top with Cool Whip and nuts (nuts are optional).
