Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. peanuts or pecans
7 1/2 qt. popped corn
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes.
Beat in soda vigorously.
Stir in peanuts.
Place corn in a large shallow pan.
Pour sugar mixture over corn; stir.
Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Yield: 7 1/2 quarts.
