Lemon-Apple Cake With Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can sliced apples
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 (1 lb. 2 1/2 oz.) pkg. lemon supreme cake mix
1/2 c. melted margarine

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9-inch square cake pan.
Combine apples, cinnamon and nutmeg in pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over apples.
Pour melted margarine evenly over the dry mix.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until lightly browned.
