Cheese Pepper Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. coarsely cracked black pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease 12 (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups real good.
    In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper in small bowl.
    Mix egg, milk and oil until blended. Stir into flour mixture just until moistened.
    Fold in 3/4 cup of the cheese.
    Spoon into muffin cups and sprinkle remaining cheese over tops.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
    Let cool in pan and serve warm.
