Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    2/3 lb. browned ground meat (season to taste)
    2/3 lb. browned Owens Country sausage (regular)
    1 onion, cooked with meat
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 small can whole kernel corn
    jalapeno peppers, chopped (don't add too many, it could really get hot!)
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients.
    Put bacon drippings in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan; dust with corn meal and brown in oven.
    Mix all other ingredients with corn bread mixture; pour over bacon drippings and corn meal.
    Cook about 1 hour or until done.
