Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. fresh apples, chopped fine
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg

Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar and Crisco, then add sifted flour, spices, salt, soda, vanilla and water.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
