Blitz Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sifted cake flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
4 eggs, separated
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
8 oz. whipped cream

Preparation

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cream the shortening with 1/2 cup of sugar.
Add beaten egg yolks, vanilla and milk.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Spread batter into 2 greased cake pans.
