Rolled Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Sift flour and salt together. Mix shortening in flour mixture. Add about 3/4 cup milk and mix. Roll thin. Cut in strips. Store in refrigerator for about 2 hours. Drop in boiling broth, either chicken or turkey. Cook for 6 or 7 minutes without stirring.
