Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. elbow macaroni
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
Preparation

Cook macaroni in 4 cups boiling water and salt.
Drain.
Mix milk with egg, beating until mixed.
Layer macaroni and cheese alternately in casserole dish, ending with plenty of cheese on top.
Pour milk mixture over this and bake for approximately 25 minutes.
Do not bake too long as it will be dry.
Bake just long enough for the mixture to become bubbly.
This is a favorite of my grandchildren.
