Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, cooked
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. water
    6 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and slice thin.
    Fry bacon slowly, drain and crumble.
    Saute onion in bacon fat.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Cook over slow heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vinegar and water. Heat to boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Stir in potatoes and bacon.
    Remove from heat, cover and let stand until ready to serve.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
