Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. red pepper
3 c. plain flour
2 1/2 sticks butter, creamed

Preparation

Work cheese, salt, pepper and flour into butter with hands. Place in large star shaped cake decorator tube.
Shape straws on cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Store in airtight container.
Yields about 80 straws.
