Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can small peas, drained
    1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
    1 can French-cut green beans, drained
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 small jar pimentos, drained
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Empty peas, Shoe Peg corn, green beans, celery, onion and pimentos into a large glass bowl.
    Bring to a boil vinegar, sugar, oil, salt and pepper.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Let stand 15 minutes (room temperature).
    Refrigerate several hours.
