Drop Paczki - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cooled, mashed potatoes
3 eggs
1 c. cool milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum (holds back oil and absorbs)

Preparation

Mix together all ingredients and drop large tablespoonful into hot grease (about 375\u00b0).
Turn constantly.
Allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered or regular sugar.
