Garlic Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium-sized potatoes, peeled
    2 large cloves garlic, peeled
    2 c. boiling water
    salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. heated cream
Preparation
    Add potatoes and garlic to boiling water.
    Cover and boil slowly about 30 minutes or until tender.
    Drain, reserving cooking liquid.
    Put hot potatoes and garlic through food ricer.
    Add salt, pepper, butter and cream.
    Stir to blend ingredients.
    Add reserved potato cooking water to desired consistency.
    Serves 6.
