Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
1 c. shortening or oil
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs.
Beat by hand.
Sift flour; add cocoa, salt and add to creamed mixture.
Mix well. Next add vanilla and pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour marshmallows on cake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Spread icing over cake.
