Utterly Deadly Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. broken pecans
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
4 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Boil sugar and syrup together 2 or 3 minutes.
Beat eggs (not too stiff); pour in slowly the hot syrup.
Add butter, vanilla and pecans.
Turn into raw pie shell and bake in moderate oven about 45 minutes, or until set.
