Pineapple Refrigerator Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    scoop of Cool Whip and a maraschino cherry for garnish
Preparation
    Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup margarine and the granulated sugar.
    Press half of the crumb mixture firmly in ungreased, square 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Beat the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup margarine and the egg in a small mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Spread carefully over crumb mix.
    Fold pineapple into Cool Whip; spread over sugar mixture.
    Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top.
    Cover and refrigerate 12 hours or until firm. Cut into squares and top with Cool Whip and cherry.
