Monkey Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
6 c. unsifted flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 stick melted butter or margarine
Preparation

Completely dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; set aside.
Mix Crisco, sugar and boiling water.
Cool slightly.
Add beaten eggs and mix.
Add flour and yeast alternately, mixing thoroughly. Cover and let rise until double.
Flatten on lightly floured board until about 1/2-inch thick.
(More flour may be added if needed to make dough handle easier.)
