Easy Homemade Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (yellow Crisco)
    1 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 eggs
    6 c. bread flour
Preparation
    Put the shortening into a large bowl and pour the boiling water over the shortening.
    To this, add sugar and salt; mix and cool to 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0.
    Mix yeast with 1/2 cup water (105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0) and 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Mix and let bubble.
    Let set 5 minutes.
    Add eggs to cooled shortening mixture, then add yeast mixture and flour last.
    Mix well on mixer or by hand.
    Cover and set in refrigerator 1 1/2 to 2 hours or up to 1 week.
    Take out and shape in favorite rolls.
    Spread with melted butter.
    Let rise until double in size. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Also makes great cinnamon rolls.
