Sure Way To Make Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Cabbage
    1 c. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 gal. cold water
Preparation
    Chop cabbage.
    Wash in cold water.
    Pack washed cabbage into canning jars and set aside.
    Mix salt and vinegar in saucepan until salt is melted (do not boil).
    Add gallon of cold water to salt and vinegar mixture.
    Fill jars with mixture and seal jars.
