Fabulous Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 pkg. powdered yeast
    1 c. lukewarm water
    4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    flour (plain)
Preparation
    Scald in pan the milk, sugar and shortening.
    Let cool. Dissolve yeast in water and add to milk mixture.
    Add enough flour to make a thin batter.
    You can use a mixture for this part.
    Cover and set aside until double in size.
    Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
    Two cups of flour will be good at this time.
    You may have to add more to make a soft dough consistency. You may store this in refrigerator a couple of days, but make sure your container is much larger than the dough mixture and is oiled and covered tightly.
