Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
2 or 3 Tbsp. warm water
5 c. plain flour
3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift flour and dry ingredients together. Cut in (blend) shortening. Stir in yeast mixture and buttermilk.
Roll out on floured board and cut into biscuits. Let rise. Place on a greased pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes.
