Franklin Nut Cake(Aunt Ethel Miller'S Traditional Christmas Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    4 c. cake flour
    6 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 qt. nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Pour into a tube cake pan and bake at 250\u00b0
    for 3 hours.
