Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. rolled oats
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream shortening, butter and white and brown sugars together until fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, soda and salt in mixture.
    Add oats.
    Form into balls. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
