Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers
    5 c. boiling salted water
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook peppers in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in medium skillet until onion is tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in salt, rice and 1 cup tomato sauce; heat thoroughly.
    Lightly stuff each pepper with 1/2 cup meat mixture.
    Stand peppers upright in ungreased baking dish.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
    Cover and bake 45 minutes.
    Uncover for last 15 minutes of baking.
