Glorified Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
2 beaten egg yolks
3/4 c. cooked pumpkin
1/4 tsp. salt
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/3 c. broken pecans
Preparation

Mix together cornstarch, sugar, ginger and cinnamon.
Add milk and beaten egg yolks and cook over hot water until thick, stirring constantly.
Add pumpkin and salt; let cool.
Fold in whipped cream and beaten egg whites.
Pour into tray and freeze, stirring twice during the first half hour.
