Jane'S Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cranberries, cut in half
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. all-purpose flour
water
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
3 eggs
Glaze (recipe follows)
1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cut 1/2 cup of butter or margarine into 1 cup of flour as in pie crust.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of cold water.
Mix with fork, shape into ball.
Roll or pat out into two 12 x 3-inch strips, leaving 3 inches between strips (or leave in one piece). Pastry should be about 1/4-inch thick.
