Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. applesauce
    2 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, baking soda
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1 lb. raisins, cooked with water until plump
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    To applesauce, add soda, spices and sugar and mix well. Blend in salt
    and
    flour.
    Beat,
    then
    add raisins and nuts. Stir in melted butter last.
    Line a 9-inch tube pan with waxed paper and grease.
    Turn
    batter
    into pan. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about
    1
    hour
    and
    10
    minutes
    or until done. Store cake in a cake keeper for about a week before cutting.
