Ingredients

3 qt. small beets
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
Preparation

Cook beets until tender.
Combine syrup ingredients and heat to boiling.
Boil 5 minutes.
Add beets and simmer 15 minutes. Put in hot jars.
