Catskinner Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 oz. grated coconut
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 small can crushed pineapple
3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1/2 c. margarine

Preparation

Cake:
Mix 1 cup sugar, eggs, coconut, buttermilk, flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, oil and salt well mixed.
Bake in greased oblong pan 25 to 30 minutes.
