Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. hot diced potatoes
1/2 c. mild onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 lb. bacon and drippings
1/3 c. cider vinegar
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 raw egg
Preparation

Prepare and set aside potatoes, onion and green pepper.
Fry bacon until crisp; strain (save drippings).
In a jar with a cover, combine egg, vinegar, seasonings and 1/4 cup warm bacon grease (discard remaining grease).
Shake mixture and pour into warm skillet.
Stir gently while heating until it thickens.
Pour hot sauce over warm vegetables.
Add crumbled bacon and mix thoroughly.
