Choco-Mint Freeze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers (28)
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1 qt. peppermint stick ice cream, softened
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix finely crushed vanilla wafers with melted margarine. Reserve 1/4 cup for topping.
    Press remaining mixture into 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
