Hot Dog Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 red tomatoes
    18 green tomatoes
    9 green peppers
    18 medium onions
    1 c. salt
    4 1/2 c. white sugar
    4 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 qt. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Chop vegetables in food processor.
    Cover with the salt.
    Let stand overnight.
    On the second day, drain and rinse with clear water and drain again.
    While the vegetables are draining, mix together in a large stainless steel pot the sugars, vinegar and spices.
    Add vegetables and cook for 1 hour.
    Fill sterilized jars with the relish.
    Seal.
    No need to process.
    Store in a cool place, though.
