Baked Pork Chops With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick pork shoulder chops
    salt to taste
    6 tart apples
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Brown chops in skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Cut apples into 1-inch slices.
    Place chops in casserole.
    Top with apples.
    Add 1/4 cup water.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt and sugar.
    Cover. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender.
