Dorlyn'S Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dried black beans or 4 cans Progresso black beans
2 large carrots, chopped fine
1 1/2 large onions
4 stalks celery, crushed
4 cloves garlic
olive oil
4 bay leaves
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes with hot chilies
3 bouillon cubes (beef, chicken or vegetable)
1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Use either 1 pound of dried black beans (sometimes called turtle beans) or 4 cans black beans.
If you choose dried beans, soak them according to package and don't drain any remaining soaking water before proceeding with recipe.
Set beans aside.
