Million Dollar Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Jiffy cake mix (yellow or white)
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    2 c. milk
    1 (3 oz.) box vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 (9 oz.) carton lite Cool Whip
    nuts and cherries
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to package directions.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 12 minutes.
    Beat cream cheese at high speed; add 2 cups milk gradually at low speed.
    Sprinkle in instant vanilla pudding mix and beat until thick.
    Spread on cold cake. Drain pineapple and spread on pudding.
    Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts and cherries.
    Refrigerate at least 6 hours overnight.
    Torte can be frozen for months.
