Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chuck, cubes
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 small bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    8 small whole onions*
    3 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 carrots, quartered
    3 medium potatoes, cut up
    10 oz. pkg. frozen cut green beans
Preparation
    *Jarred onions may be used.
