Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 envelopes plain gelatin
    1 doz. cherries
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 pt. whipped cream or substitute
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix
    pineapple and sugar in saucepan and bring to boil. Dissolve
    gelatin
    in cold water and add to pineapple mixture. Set aside
    to
    cool.
    Crush cherries.
    Add cherry juice to the cream cheese
    and
    mix
    until smooth.
    Add cherries and lemon juice. Combine
    with gelatin mixture.
    Fold in whipped cream. Refrigerate.
