Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 1/4 oz.) cans pineapple chunks (reserve juice)
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    hot cooked rice or chow mein noodles
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 green pepper, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Set aside pineapple.
    Add enough water to juice to make 1 1/3 cups liquid.
    In microwave bowl, combine liquid, brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and 1/3 cup soy sauce.
    Microwave on High for 7 1/2 to 11 minutes or until mixture is thick and glossy, stirring twice with whisk.
    Set aside.
