Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix (with pudding)
    2/3 c. Carnation cream
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. pecans, broken
    3/4 c. soft margarine
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed adding 1/3 cup cream and 3/4 cup margarine.
    Pour half of batter in a greased oblong pan.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels in 1/3 cup cream and spread on top of cake.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour remaining batter on top and bake about 30 minutes.
    This cake requires no icing.
    It is rich and moist.
